- 1971The call answeredCalled as a child in a Florida farm town, she returned to the Lord as a young woman, closed every business she owned in a single day, and began preaching on the street corners.
- 1984Bible Teachers InternationalIn Fort Lauderdale, a Bible study of twelve people in a hotel room becomes Bible Teachers International.
- 1986The Academy of the ArtsBible Theater begins training ministers of the arts in the Word, dance, drama and the creative arts.
- 1992JamaicaThe work crosses the sea. Worship centers rise in Half Way Tree, Trench Town, East Kingston, Bath and Ocho Rios.
- 1996The Martin Luther King AwardPresented by Florida Governor Lawton Chiles for her contributions and teaching throughout Florida.
- 1998Honored in Broward CountyNamed one of the outstanding female pastors of Broward County. Dade County declares December 29 "The Potter's House Day" for her play.
- 2002Amazing GraceShe writes the musical Amazing Grace and stages it across the United States. In Kingston it later earns eight nominations at Jamaica's national theatre awards.
- 2009The ReformationThe handbook of apostolic order for every Bible Teachers International pastor, and the promise that no one is ever charged to enter a church, class or conference.
- 2025The King Is BornHer first feature film, a musical with fourteen original songs, written and directed by Apostle Banks.
- 2026Every nation, every languageThe Faith Library, the Global Training Center, the Global Church, Lifesavers, Bible Theater and the City of Faith open to the world online, interpreted and translated for the nations.

Apostle Mary Banks
Known to the Body of Christ as The Bible Teacher
She grew up one of thirteen children in a Florida farmworker town and first heard the call of God at nine years old. Years later, already running her own accounting firms, a restaurant and a contracting company, she came back to the Lord with everything she had. She closed her businesses in a single day and went to the street corners to preach.
“I was struggling to push this wagon up that mountain. It was loaded down, and I alone was pushing. After a while a young man stepped out of the crowd, put his hands on the wagon and started pushing it up the hill. I've lived to see this vision come to fruition.”
